The new Rural Jump-Start Program in Colorado creates specific areas where approved businesses are exempted from state and local taxes.Three companies selected to participate in ‘Rural Jump-Start Program’

The new Rural Jump-Start Program in Colorado creates specific areas where approved businesses are exempted from state and local taxes. In order to receive these incentives, the businesses must create at least five new jobs in the county where they’re located. Mesa County joined the program and three companies have been approved to participate.

Film company producing documentary series on small-town businesses

A documentary film company is telling the stories of small-town businesses throughout Mississippi. With the help of various agencies, the firm is making 25 films highlighting success stories in small-town business. At a recent screening, a panel discussion was held about making business work for local communities.
