Grants to address ‘shortage’ of nurses throughout rural communities
In hopes to “improve the health of residents in rural and underserved communities,” the federal government is offering grants to health care training programs. They hope to place trainees in health care settings in more rural towns throughout the United States. This grant money will be used toward tuition and other expenses for students in the Doctor of Nursing Practice programs. The hope is to let students to focus on schooling and not worry much about financial problems.
